Who we are

The company is a key player in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector of the Hospitality and Tourism industry. Fairground Holdings (Pty) Ltd trading as Botswana Conference & Exhibition Centre was established in 1986. The company is a subsidiary of the Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) with a 51% shareholding and the Botswana Government through the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry holding 49% shares.
Located in Gaborone’s city centre, Botswana Conference & Exhibition Centre offers versatile venues for conferences, fairs and exhibitions ranging in size to up to 10,000 indoor seater which is popularly used for indoor exhibitions. The Centre’s eighteen (18) conference rooms are all easily equipped to hold conferences, banquets, receptions, workshops and board meetings with the smaller sized being ideal as breakaway rooms to the Ditshupo Hall, the Chamber/Boipuso Hall, Annex, Pavilion and Banquet Conference Rooms.

The product offering and service delivery have established the Botswana Conference & Exhibition Centre as a prime and sought after venue for major annual exhibitions and events locally and internationally. Client services include equipment hire such as shell scheme exhibition stands as well as overall event management by an experienced team which is able to outsource special requirements on behalf of clients.
